Award-nominating American young actress Macey Cruthird became famous for playing daughter Hayley in the television sitcom “Hope & Faith” from 2003 to 2006. The role brought her two Young Artist nominations. After the show departed the airwaves, she played Alyson Atlin in the Fox comedy series “Deeply Irresponsible” (2007). She also has acted in the movie “Come Away Home” (2005) and the TV pilot “House Blend” (2002).

Apart from acting, Macey enjoys dancing, singing, snow skiing, and water sports, among other outdoor activities. She also plays the piano and guitar. A passionate animal lover, Macey keeps a Maltese puppy named Gidget as her pet.

Despite her young age, Macey Cruthird has trained in a number of acting and audition workshops in Los Angeles and her hometown of Texas. She has also appeared in such commercials as McDonald’s, Toyota and TJ Maxx, among others, and done print work.
At age 10, Cruthird made her television acting debut in the role of Courtney Harper in a pilot for Warner Brothers, “House Blend” (2002), where she had the opportunity to act with Amy Yasbeck and Dan Cortese. Her big breakthrough arrived in the following year when she landed the regular role of Hayley Shanowski in the comedy series “Hope & Faith,” which ran for three seasons from 2003 to 2006. Playing a smart but angst-ridden girl who is forced to bed with her nettlesome younger brother upon the arrival of her celebrity aunt, Cruthird received a 2004 Young Artist nomination for Best Performance in a TV Series (Comedy or Drama) - Young Actress Age Ten or Younger and another nomination in 2006 for Best Performance in a TV Series (Comedy) - Supporting Young Actress.
During her tenure on the series, Cruthird made her big screen debut in 2005’s “Come Away Home,” playing Holly. The family film was directed by Doug McKeon and starred Paul Dooley, Martin Mull, Thomas Gibson and Lea Thompson. Her best friend, actress Jordan-Claire Green, also starred in the movie as Annie Lamm.
After the demise of “Hope & Faith,” Cruthird starred as Alyson Atlin in the Fox sitcom “Deeply Irresponsible” (2007). Among her costars in the series were Larry Joe Campbell,Jana Marie Hupp and Tanner Berney.
